The Truck Conveyor Belt (TCB) is the most efficient method of casting suspended concrete floor slabs, rafts and retaining walls requiring up to 30m3 of concrete at 60% of the cost of a concrete pump. The TCB has unique features that will revolutionize the placing concrete.

The concrete and conveyor arrive simultaneously allowing for the fastest setup and placing method compared to pumps or the like. There is never a situation where there is concrete and no pump or vice versa.
The site establishment and placing charges of the TCB is approximately half of the pump.
You don’t need a bag of cement and plaster sand as the conveyor does not have to be primed.
You can expect to do all types of construction and others, stress free, with no frustrations.
One can even use the TCB to place back fill where it is not accessible to trucks.
Concrete is delivered at the right tempo saving labour considerably, typically two people can easily place the concrete up to 30m³.
No concrete in a pump pipeline which must be disposed of and paid for (up to a cubic metre at an excess of R1000/m³), never mind disposing of hard concrete thereafter.
The use of a concrete pump is a cost-effective solution to transfer concrete from the mixer truck to the position of placement, which is normally in hard to reach places and need to be done in the shortest possible time. We work closely with the pump supplier and are in control of the deployment of the pumps, as well as the scheduling and dispatching of concrete delivery, customers are assured of an efficient service.
Quantum offers a site inspection service to customers for advice on access and suitability for concrete delivery and pumping. Our experienced staff is always available for advice on various aspects related to concrete, as well as the handling thereof.
Whilst Quantum Readymix runs a quality assurance system and takes cubes on a regular basis for our own purposes, unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any site’s quality assurance programme.
All cubes are tested as far as practical in accordance with the requirements of SABS method 863 compressive strength of hardened concrete and are 100mm unless stated otherwise.
Testing is done by Independent Laboratory that has been contracted by us to do daily tests on our concrete, and advise accordingly regarding our quality assurance programme. The laboratories are SANAS accredited conforming to the SABS 0259 code of practice for “The general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”.
Quantum Readymix has pioneered the delivery of concrete to site by introducing 12m truck into the fleet. Quantum are the first in Africa.

Consider mixer truck access and the duration of discharge per load and total time required for the entire order, which will prevent any standing time charges or inferior concrete.

Ensure the strength and slump of the concrete required is known.
This will normally be specified by an engineer and/or contractor.
Ensure that the quantity (volume in m³) of concrete required is carefully measured and calculated
(m³ = length x width x thickness). It is advisable to rather measure actual work on site and not to rely on the dimensions indicated on construction drawings.
